YES i love Joe Maalouf.
YES i used to listen to him on Jaras FM
YES i watched a couple episodes of ENTA HORR on MTV Lebanon.
BUT

The next time they mentined #LGBT in Lebanon, it was with Joe Maalouf about the cinema in Tripoli, and it got closed.
The Third time i knew that they mentioned #LGBT in Lebanon, was the current scandal.
Well i kinda kept my silence, but now i'm speaking.
But before telling you why i LOVE Joe Maalouf, please watch this :
So first Tripoli, then Babrbir, then Nab3a. what's next? Mykonos ( Where Joe Maalouf spends his "Escapades" ) ?
Why didn't we, as #LGBT society make a scandal of Barbir Cinema ? In fact, why didn't the now-famous MAGHFAR HBEICH make a move for that cinema ?????
I have a question for Maghfar Hbeich :
- Being gay is illegal in Lebanon, i get that. But porn in public + ON TV Gay escort is legal ??
Call me stupid, but they should have closed that cinema, and jailed the guy in the video for double crime ( if we want to follow the lebanese law ) : For being gay, and for being a sex worker.
Or they just "SHAKE THEIR ASSES" towards the people that they can't defend themselves ??
I, as a 25+ gay guy living almost in the closet in Beirut, condemn what i just saw in the video.
In my opinion, we should close all the Porno theaters in Lebanon, from Tripoli to Sour.
On the other hand, Quoting the United Nation's Human rights :
So, either i'm a stupid ignorant guy, or Lebanon, as LBCI said, is "The Republic of shame".
How can you be so PROUD of writing the UN Human Rights, and being so flagrant in throwing them out of the window ?? Well dear Lebanon, you are Schizophrenic.
Moving to how the media reacted.
I really, from the bottom of my heart, thank MTV Lebanon for their effort in fighting crimes, helping in CLEANING the society from Murderers, Rapists, etc.
I thank Joe Maalouf, for his show, for helping people without a voice, for giving them a voice.

Dear MTV, you are not the voice of freedom, in fact, you are the voice of "money speaks", the voice of "fake people", the voice of the "pretenders".
Joe Maalouf pretends to be God, where in fact he is the GAYest of them all, he pretends to be disgusted from Gay people, and he calls them "Shazzin" & "Louwat" and in fact he employed AT LEAST 2 gay people in his radio station (Jaras FM)
PLUS : If this isn't GAY, as Joe defines GAY then i am a tree :

Dear Joe Maalouf, i hope you keep doing your show, in order to make yourself even more stupid, raise the bar of invading people's privacy, so we have more support for the LGBT cause in Lebanon.

Well, as a gay guy, i have to admit that Joe is a cute guy, i wouldn't mind dating him if i didn't knew his "mind", or the lack of it.
What makes me confused is that MTV Lebanon, used to be the one in the lead in defending the rights of EVERYONE, the liberal forward thinker TV Station in Lebanon. So what happened now ? How do they fell back to being the Homophobic station having more than 30% of their employees and presents from the LGBT community ?

On the other hand, i, personally, HATE Dima Sadek. For me, she is a fake girl who lured her way into LBCI, but i have to admit that she is an excellent interviewer, and she rocks in getting the guest literally OUT OF HIS CLOTHES, as we say in Lebanon.
I have to THANK LBCI for the way they have been handling the #LGBT subject. I didn't here, not a single time, the word "Shazz" on LBCI. I don't care if they are pro, against LGBT or whatever, but at least, they respect LGBT groups and know how to name them.
But, LBCI have been nothing but great in the last couple of days for taking sides with the 36 people arrested in Cinema Monaco, and taking sides against "Homosexuality Tests" ( Tests still used from the Stone Age).
